Whale (specialist)

A whale — called a specialist on the Signals tab — is a high-PnL Polymarket wallet that SlipSignals tracks. We pull these wallets from Polymarket’s category leaderboards (politics and crypto), not the global board, because the global board is dominated by sports bettors whose moves don’t generalize.

When a tracked whale enters a market with real, non-sports size, that move becomes a signal. We never claim to know the whale’s intent or their private profit — only the publicly-knowable fact that a proven wallet put money into a specific market and outcome.
