Frequently asked
Questions, answered honestly.
Is this investment advice?
No. SlipSignals is read-only and informational. It does not recommend trades, and past performance is not predictive of future results.
Where does the data come from?
Publicly-available Polymarket market prices and category leaderboards. We surface only what is publicly knowable — never private account data.
Can the product place trades for me?
No. There is no trading capability of any kind. Every part of the system only reads and explains market data.
What does the conviction score mean?
Conviction is a 0–100 score combining a specialist's proven win rate, the size of the position, and their lifetime realized PnL. It measures how seriously to take a signal — it is not a probability of winning.
What is a 'proven' specialist?
A tracked wallet that has had at least 20 of its tracked bets resolve. Below that threshold the sample is too small to trust, so we label the wallet unproven and cap how much it can score.
Is the win rate a profit figure?
No. Win rate is market-level settlement — which outcome a market resolved to — not a per-wallet profit number, which the free data cannot report truthfully.
Are the backtest returns real?
They are idealized and clearly labeled as such. Backtests assume a fill at the specialist's entry price with no fees or slippage, over the resolved subset only. Treat them as illustrative, not as expected returns.
How much does it cost?
It will be $20/month when it launches. There is no checkout yet — see the pricing page for what's included.
